• One of the founders of the Student American Medical Association (SAMA), which evolved into the Medical Student Section (MSS)
• Took a year off from medical school to serve as the President of SAMA.  The Speaker  announced his receipt of his medical degree from the floor of the AMA HOD.
• Testified in front of Senator Ted Kennedy about primary care.
• Got a pilot’s license before a driver’s license
• DJ while attending Stanford.  Known as “The Jersey Cat” broadcasting on KZSU
• Created multi-year International Rhinoplasty Course, “Rodeo Rhinoplasty.” Co-chaired course with Anthony Brissett, MD and a cross-cultural, diverse team of instructors held in conjunction with University of Texas Health Science/McGovern Medical School
• Speaks fluent Italian and presented medical talks in Italian as the featured guest lecturer at multiple International Conferences.
• Created The Face Foundation to provide pro bono facial reconstructive and cosmetic surgical benefits to victims of domestic violence
• Selected one of the first female facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellows for his AAFPRS fellowship
• Selected one of the first BIPOC facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellows for his AAFPRS fellowship
